Romania who?
I am going to start writing this post in English because I want my friends who think the Romanian language is "pure noise" to know what this post is about.
So, we are supposed to re-brand Romania. And it's kind of a tricky business RE-brand something we didn't bother to brand in the first place. So now we're trying to deal with an image created absolutely by chance and intending to make it better. Maybe we should first ask people what was the original brand, so that we can get an idea of what we have to change. But if somebody asked me how I see my country I think I would be so accustomed to most of the things that go wrong that I wouldn't even notice them anymore. So I called for "external help" and I asked a friend of mine what does he think about Romania. And one of the first things was that's it's dirty (I agree, but he didn't see my town :P) and the second was that the people here don't smile very often. This is where I got the idea that, maybe, if we want to re-brand Romania, we have to make people smile more.
This is the start of a re-branding campaign I am working on right now. If you don't remember when was the last time you laughed, this campaign is also for you. If you smiled at least once in the last 5 minutes, you are welcome to join us making everybody else do that.
